The Role

Overview

Provide technical HVAC training to internal/external customers and maintain training centers.

Tasks

-Assist with design, layout, equipment selection and periodic inspection of METUS Authorized Training Centers. -Participate in the design, development, and/?or updating of training programs and supporting materials such as training guides, practical exercises, assessments, and other handouts consistent with product updates and releases. -Manage the upkeep and maintenance of assigned METUS training centers including installed equipment, test equipment and tools and facilities. -Provide technical training for internal and external customers both on-site and in METUS training centers. -Conduct on-site assessments of customers’ installation and maintenance functions to determine needs for follow-up training. -Assist with the training and qualification process for internal and external Authorized Trainers. -Setup, configure and maintain training equipment and information libraries. -Work closely with service department staff to keep up with current issues and solutions. -Provide back-up technical support for internal and external customers when required.

What You Bring

-Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electronic and refrigerant flow systems. -Ability to translate complex thoughts and ideas and communicate them in an easy to understand form. -Ability to work remotely and independently with little direct daily supervision -Minimum of two years of experience in formal training delivery. Military technical training experience is a plus. -Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and through formal presentations. -Comprehensive working knowledge of the tools included in the Microsoft Office Professional Suite. -Highly enthusiastic and energetic person capable of building and maintaining customer interest during training. -Associates degree or a minimum of five years technical experience in the HVAC field. -Willing to travel up to 40% for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly Internationally
