The Role

Overview

Design and develop subsea hardware products per specifications and standards

Tasks

-Evaluate customer inquiries & specifications and study all inputs available for a product or engineering scope -Ascertain engineering deliveries with required quality, within schedule -Design equipment to match specifications; includes concept creation, detailed design, design calculations like Padeye Calculations, Cathodic Protection Calculations, Bolt Calculations and Foundation calculations, manufacturing drawings, bill of materials and product related technical documents (OMM, FAT, LTP etc.) -Perform tolerance stack-up analysis of simple problems -Contribute to improving existing engineering processes -Refine and improve product designs by evaluating current designs and developing new solutions -Interpret & use industry codes & standards relevant to product being designed -Handle the technical changes and updates in PLM/PDM systems -Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures -Communicate regular progress updates to customer -Study inputs available (drawings, cad models, technical documents) for a product / design

What You Bring

-Basic knowledge of AutoCAD & any calculations software -Must have minimum 2 Years of Experience on Subsea Hardware’s (MQC, UTAs, Mudmat, HFLs etc) design and Development. -Understand and adhere to organizational HSE policies and practices -Teamwork & Interpersonal skills -Intermediate to Expert level user of Solid works and PLM/PDM software -Communication skills -Understand and comply to established engineering processes -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications -Familiarity with Mechanical industry codes/standards (e.g., ASME, DNV, API, AISC etc.) -Organizing & planning skills -Analytical, problem solving & decision-making skills -Graduation (bachelor’s degree) in Mechanical Engineering.
