Junior Project Manager

Overview

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing industrial construction projects.

Tasks

-Assist in resolving any technical or operational issues that may impact the project timeline or budget. -Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders. -Communicate regularly with clients, vendor, and subcontractors to provide updates and address concerns. -Support the Project Manager in risk management by identifying potential issues and helping implement corrective actions. -Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, fabrication, field services) to track project progress and address and issues that may arise. -Assist in procurement process, including reviewing material orders and ensuring timely delivery. -Participate in on-site inspections and collaborate with site supervisors to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements. -Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. -Prepare project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, schedules, and change orders. -Assist the Project Manager in the planning and execution of industrial construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Procore, etc) and standard office software (MS Office Suite). -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. -Basic knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and project management methodologies. -Familiarity with construction contracts, schedules, and cost management. -Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. -Eagerness to learn and grow within the industrial construction sector. -Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. -1-3 years of relevant experience in industrial construction of a similar industry (internships or co=op experience accepted) -Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. -Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial environment. -Bachelor's degree in construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
