- Strong experience and understanding of marine and aquatic environments including water and sediment quality sampling techniques, data collection and interpretation
- Ability to build relationships, manage projects, and contribute to business development activities
- Experience with the maintenance and deployment of real-time telemetered monitoring equipment
- Strong understanding of the statutory frameworks, policies and science-based approaches that govern water management
- Tertiary qualifications, from a recognised institution, in an environmental science related discipline, or similar relevant degree
