The Role

Overview

Perform, manage, and coordinate electrical maintenance projects and customer relations.

Tasks

-Maintain communication with office personnel via email or cell communication -Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional. -Assist in creation of Change Management Forms and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) -Testing of transformers single and three phase (TTR) -Programming of communication devices -Troubleshooting electrical systems using array of test equipment -Working to NFPA standards -Maintenance of electrical systems, such as 3 phase, UPS, Automatic transfer switches, generators, static switches, power distribution systems -Follow all company safety procedures such as LOTO -Build vendors relationships

What You Bring

-Physical dexterity- able to lift 60 lbs. -IR scanning certification -Prior experience managing and coordinating vendors -Understanding of different communication protocols -Ability to read and implement co-ordination studies -PLC Experience -Prior experience working as a OEM technician -5+ years of Electrical preventive maintenance experience is preferred. -Knowledge of insulation resistance testing (megger) -VFD’s, soft starts, motor control knowledge -Willingness to travel as necessary -Prior experience as an electrician or maintenance technician -A valid US Driver's License with a satisfactory record. -Ability to read electrical drawings (one line, three-line, control schematic, wiring diagram) -3+ years as OEM or Facility maintenance person -Face to face customer service experience -Knowledge of low resistance testing (Ductor) -Reading of blueprints and technical diagrams -Start up and commissioning experience -Ability to read trip curves -Knowledge of primary and secondary injection of circuit breakers -Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods. -Willing to undertake further training -Experience working in the electrical preventive maintenance field -Ability to create detailed job findings -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Excellent troubleshooting skills -IR scanning experience
