Tasks

-Promote a safety culture within the team to conform to current work. -Ensure that policies and procedures that relate to human resource management and work health safety and welfare are effectively applied in line with Just and Fair Culture. -Ensure compliance with ARTC’s Safety Management System (SMS) and -Ensure field works are undertaken in accordance with ARTC policy, procedures and standards. -Railway safe working systems, principles and audit requirements. -Ensure fair and equitable workplace practices and behaviours are complied with, creating a discrimination free workplace in accordance with legislative requirements. -Ensure compliance with all mandatory systems and processes. -Ensure the standard of track and infrastructure is continually at a fit for use level. -Ensure ARTC’s safety and commercial interests are appropriately protected.

What You Bring

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs. -Australian standards for track infrastructure including the railway National Code of Practice. -Highly developed problem resolution and interpersonal skills. -Knowledge of rail safety management principles. -Experience in the management of safety. -Qualification or relevant experience with non-destructive testing methods. -Tertiary qualifications in engineering, and or relevant industry experience.
