Tasks

Quality Tech will conduct routine quality inspections throughout production, including in-process and final inspections of new machinery. -Work with the safety committee to ensure continuous compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and standards. -QC inspection of all new equipment. -Collaborate and train production staff in quality control procedures and standards. -Record and maintain documentation of all machinery inspections. -Will participate in overflow part quality check as needed for machining operation. -Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection. -Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions. -Communicate quality and safety control findings and recommendations to management. -Conduct reviews of checklists for compliance with equipment specification standards per customer purchase agreements. -Is a liaison between production and engineering for technical updates. -Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and safety control processes.

What You Bring

-Understand basic pneumatic/hydraulic fundamentals. -Associate Engineer Degree or equivalent, electrical or mechanical. -Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. -Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation. -Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases. -A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. -Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers. -Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). -Understand basic electrical and mechanical engineering principles. -Thoroughly versed in the use of an array of electronic test equipment.
