Lead HVDC system commissioning, testing, and team management worldwide.

Tasks

-Manage an international team of commissioning engineers. -Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and occupational health and safety regulations. -Organize Functional System Testing/Factory Acceptance Tests (FST/FAT) at test areas on site. -Support project management in risk and claim management, ensuring quality and safety, and participate in internal improvement programs. -Monitor, document, and communicate work progress, ensuring a smooth construction site process with suppliers and partners. -Plan and execute tests and commissioning of HVDC systems on time, cost-effectively, and with high quality.

What You Bring

-Several years of experience in commissioning or managing large plants (e.g., HVDC, power plants, switchgear, power distribution systems). -Basic knowledge of Project Management. -Proficiency in English; German language skills are advantageous. -University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or comparable technical education with relevant experience. -Willingness for worldwide business trips, long-term assignments on construction sites, and optional offshore platform assignments. -Strong conflict management, decision-making, result orientation, motivation, and communication skills in international/intercultural teams
