Tasks

-Place reel of specified wire onto payout spindle of machine and threads wire through feed rolls. Adjusts machine controls to regulate factors such as wire thickness, pressure, heat, and cutting and stripping length -Perform daily machine checks and operates any material handling equipment and powered material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity -Fill all orders efficiently and accurately. Ensures outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage -Maintain a minimum standard in wire cuts in compliance with current company policies in both accuracy and productivity -Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Follows established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately addresses safety concerns -Retrieve and cut wire efficiently and accurately for requested customer shipments Examines wire for conformance to specifications and removes defective pieces -Report any damage to electronic hardware, work machines, or pipe racks immediately to a supervisor -Stack/store merchandise in the appropriate area and stages wire cuts in the appropriate shipping area

-Must have a valid driver's license -Must be at least 21 years of age -Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire -Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record -Ability to handle basic issues and problems -Must not have had a suspended drivers’ license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years -Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years -Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements -Ability to meet deadlines -High School or GED - Preferred -Excellent organizational and time management skills -Knowledge of Radio Frequency scanning devices preferred -Basic computer knowledge -Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks -Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers -Must be willing to be trained on all the following material handling equipment: forklift, stand-up reach truck, High-Reach Narrow-Aisle, Stand-Up Rider pallet Jack that conform to OSHA safety training requirements -Ability to work overtime as needed -Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred.
