Entry-level project engineer handling site tasks, scheduling, and subcontract coordination.

Tasks

-Supervision/coordination of subcontractors’ field installations -Shop drawing/submittal review and coordination -Review of subcontractor applications for payment -Maintenance of As-Built plans -Mechanical, electrical and piping systems coordination -Participation in/documentation of project coordination meetings -Monitor/document job-site safety and accident prevention -Review/negotiate change proposal pricing from subcontractors and prepare change proposal pricing for self-performed work -Procurement and expediting of material and equipment -Research and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipment -Change order documentation and associated cost reporting and maintenance -Project cost review, reporting, updating and accounting

What You Bring

-Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment required -Must be geographically mobile and able to relocate. This position does require relocation outside of California to support national projects. -Construction internship or other related construction work experience preferred -General knowledge of construction principles/practices required -Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering required
