Tasks

-Analyze past incidents to discover what went wrong. -Update our policies according to changes in occupational health and safety legislation. -Establish clear procedures for accident reporting. -Manage, mentor, and develop the purchasing team (Level 1, Level 2, and Senior Specialists), ensuring they meet performance goals and professional growth objectives. -Develop and implement procurement strategies that reduce costs, improve efficiency, and mitigate supply chain risks. -Lead supplier management strategies, negotiating contracts and ensuring suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. -Revise work procedures to make them safer. -Ensure that all procurement processes are efficient, compliant with company policies, and aligned with best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead their implementation. -Collaborate with project managers, site managers and the construction team to align procurement activities with project schedules and objectives. -Use incentive actions for health & safety (e.g., presenting safe employee awards).
