Tasks
-Oversee the daily operations of Old Cliffe Hill Quarry. -Lead and organise team priorities, adapting to changing operational needs. -Monitor and report environmental compliance issues. -Manage contractors, employees, and visitors on site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. -Work closely with logistics to optimise customer service and operational efficiency. -Assume statutory responsibility under Regulation 8.1(d) in the Quarry Manager’s absence. -Ensure consistent supply of high-quality stone to meet processing plant requirements. -Collaborate with other departments to support wider business objectives. -Promote a strong safety culture through active participation in safe walks, inspections, and incident reporting.
