Tasks

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for leading all field operations on electrical construction projects, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards. This role provides on-site leadership for electricians and subcontractors, coordinates closely with project management, and drives projects to successful completion on time and within budget. -Monitor and enforce all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and site-specific requirements (including JSA and toolbox talks). -Oversee and manage all on-site electrical installation activities, including manpower, scheduling, materials, and quality control. -Review and verify installation quality, ensuring adherence to NEC and local codes. -Plan and coordinate equipment, tool, and material deliveries to avoid delays. -Track and report daily progress, labor hours, and material usage. -Identify and communicate potential changes or field issues to the Project Manager for resolution. -Interface with general contractors, owners, inspectors, and other trades to ensure seamless coordination. -Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with design intent. -Lead site meetings and support project closeout, testing, and commissioning activities. -Coordinate daily with the Project Manager to align field operations with schedule and budget targets. -Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules. -Supervise crews of electricians and apprentices, providing direction, leadership, and technical guidance.

What You Bring

-Proven leadership and team-building skills in fast-paced construction environments. -10+ years of experience in the electrical trade, with 5+ years in a Foreman or Superintendent role. -Problem Solving & Decision Making -Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required or preferred depending on jurisdiction). -Willingness to travel as required for project assignments. -Ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical drawings. -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Strong working knowledge of the NEC, electrical systems, and commercial/industrial construction methods. -Proficiency in project management and field software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam).
