What You Bring

-Current Commercial Driver’s License is a plus -Ability to follow instructions, possess the ability to be trained, mentored and have a positive can-do attitude are necessities -Possess the ability to designate/locate a variety of underground utilities, create legible field sketches, simple mathematics, field measurements, document daily activities, and perform records research. Perform other duties as assigned -Ability to maintain required certifications. -Highschool Diploma/GED -Mechanical aptitude is desired -This position is similar to a utility locator or utility designator and requires minimum of 2 - 4 years of utility locating or designating using many types of pipe and cable locating devices -Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is preferred -Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Surveying, CADD, and vacuum excavation truck experience a plus. -Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience -High School Diploma is required. -Understanding basic traffic control and the hazards associated with working in and around traffic and follow safety precautions -Have a basic knowledge of various underground utilities and able to identify surface features associated with various utilities -Valid Driver’s License -NULCA or other certification is a plus -Ability to perform some equipment maintenance tasks a plus -A valid current driver’s license and have the ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation is required -Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.
