Tasks

-Design and layout fire alarm detection and clean agent suppression systems. -Timely completion and processing of required paperwork. -Planning, scheduling, and project management of their projects. -Quality design & layout of fire alarm & releasing systems. -Assist project estimator with project cost and change order issues. -Promote safety to the team members on their projects. -Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and schematics required to support the installation of fire alarm systems. -Maintain project drawing files, associate records, and documentation tracking. -Help improve the design department.

Requirements

What You Bring

-Must be organized and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. -AutoCAD experience preferred. -Ability to multi-task. -Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other software programs. -Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, electrical engineering, a technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience. Examples include architectural, civil engineering, design engineering technology, mechanical engineering, and construction management degrees. Degree can be replaced with a minimum of 5 year experience in the fire alarm industry. -Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record. -Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
