The Role

Overview

Merchant Sales Rep driving new business and supporting existing customers in NW UK.

Tasks

-Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business. -Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities. -Support existing clients. -Work alongside current internal sales on large accounts. -Build new sales opportunities with our existing merchant customer base with follow-up quotations, calls and emails to generate new sales. -Participate in sales meetings to communicate pipeline and progress on sales opportunities -Grow new business by engaging with decision making stakeholders within the merchant customer base -Work collaboratively as part of the wider sales teams and estimating team. -Identify customer's buying trends and provide reports to management. -Achieve sales KPI's and targets. -Meet established goals and sales targets.

What You Bring

-Effectively demonstrate product line knowledge -Strong customer service and sales background -Experience in a previous role would be desirable -Confident, resilient and target driven -Whilst not essential, experience working in the merchant sectors. -Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Adaptable, self-driven & team oriented. -A background in sales would be advantageous -Proficient with Microsoft packages (including Word and Excel)
