Tasks
Application of responsibilities to site development and transportation projects involving a wide range of site/civil design for roadways, railways, airports, data centers, industrial facilities and parks/open space. -Support development of drawings, reports, calculation packages, and specifications -Perform data collection, research, and apply codes, specifications and standards for design of the above elements -Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery -Use Hydraulic modeling tools such as Autodesk Storm and Sanitary, InfoWorks, and PCSWMM to analyze and design stormwater and flood protection systems -Perform preconstruction and constructionphase site visits -Use Civil 3D or MicroStation software to layout roads, multiuse paths, flood barriers, drainage systems and utility systems as well as site grading and earthwork designs -Coordinate with other disciplines to apply skills in delivering sustainable outcomes -Engage with project stakeholders and clients to develop designs that meet needs and concerns

What You Bring
-Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fastpaced environment -Experience with CAD software -Innovative minds: We’re looking for critical thinkers who embrace new ideas and challenge the status quo. -Knowledge of Civil 3D CAD software and MicroStation -Proficient with civil engineering design and analysis tools for roads, stormwater, and/or utility systems -Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment -Professional demeanor -Whether you’ve just graduated or are graduating before the role starts, we want to hear from you if your degree is in a relevant field. -Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment -Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and construction process -Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future. -Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering, or relevant engineering degree -Recent and soontobe graduates: -Ability to gain EIT/ FE Certification within 1 year of graduation -Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals -Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges -Good communication skills essential for teambased working

New York City Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York City is $77,500 to $84,500 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
