Tasks

-Foster strong client relationships and promote innovative solutions. -Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met across all operations. -Lead the Brisbane asphalt team to achieve budgeted profit and performance targets. -Develop and implement regional business plans aligned with strategic objectives. -Oversee project delivery, financial performance and continuous improvement initiatives. -Drive compliance with Downer’s Integrated Management System and Zero Harm initiatives. -Empower and develop staff through coaching, succession planning and performance reviews.

What You Bring

-A sound understanding in delivering asphalt, surfacing, paving and/or minor civil works preferred. -Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams. -Proven experience in project operations management at a senior level. -Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and reporting. -Demonstrated ability to build stakeholder relationships and identify business opportunities. -Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business or related discipline. -Sound knowledge of work health and safety and employee relations legislation.
