Overview

Install, maintain, and repair commercial/industrial electrical systems.

Tasks

-Bends and installs various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC. -Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute accurate installations. -Trains and mentors apprentices, providing guidance and hands-on learning experiences. -Ensures all electrical work complies with NEC standards, local codes, and safety regulations. -Troubleshoots and diagnoses electrical issues, providing effective solutions. -Coordinates with other trades and contractors to ensure timely project completion. -Installs and maintains electrical systems, including wiring, transformers, switchgear, motors, and other components. -Adheres to company tool policies and demonstrates responsibility in maintaining required trade tools. -Conducts inspections of electrical systems to maintain compliance and prevent hazards. -Maintains accurate records of electrical work performed and materials used.

What You Bring

-High school diploma or GED. -Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to install and maintain electrical systems. -Four (4) years of experience in commercial electrical installation and maintenance. -Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and project specifications. -Ability to lift and transport heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and operate at heights. -Familiarity with NEC chapters 1-9 and ability to apply code effectively. -Ability to train and mentor apprentices, ensuring knowledge transfer and team development. -Experience in both commercial and industrial electrical installations. -Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and contractors. -Valid journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification. -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently. -Proficiency in advanced conduit bending techniques and electrical troubleshooting. -Knowledge of conduit bending techniques, electrical troubleshooting, and system installations. -Knowledge of electrical systems, NEC regulations, and safety protocols. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring apprentices.
