The Role

Overview

Manage construction projects from design to closeout for utility.

Tasks

-Verify field readiness for work execution. -Troubleshoot and resolve design issues with internal design support consultation. -Evaluate needs for easements and/or permits. -Schedule field work orders to meet in-service expectations. -Ensure material availability for timely construction. -Communicate with external and internal agencies and respond to stakeholder inquiries. -Update status, tasks, and dates in the Work-Management System.

What You Bring

-Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. -Familiarity with electrical systems and transmission and distribution construction standards. -Capability to plan, organize, design, coordinate, and manage multiple projects. -Bachelor's degree in business or related field with one year of project management experience; OR Associate Degree with three years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma with five years of related experience. -Knowledge of company standards, tariffs, and applicable codes. -Valid driver's license. -Construction management and project management experience. -Proficiency with computer tools, including AutoCAD and work management systems. -Basic knowledge of the utility industry. -Ability to understand and apply engineering and design concepts. -Effective written and oral communication skills.
