Tasks

-Collaboration with cross-functional teams to communicate financial results, accounting advice and insights to key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors. -Support the external audit process and preparation of audit pack -Ad hoc accounting tasks, including implementing process improvements and assisting with accounting advice papers -Preparation of audited financial statements for the Group’s subsidiaries at year end, and unaudited interim accounts at half year -Maintain strong internal control procedures to safeguard the integrity of the financial data -Assist with month end processes: preparation of journals, consolidated reporting pack, balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the intercompany processes

What You Bring

-Proficient excel skills essential, with experience in Oracle, Planning Analytics and IRIS advantageous but not essential -Ability to prioritise workload -Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial information to stakeholders -Experience in a similar industry role advantageous but not essential -Strong technical accounting knowledge -The job holder should be educated to degree level and have obtained an ACCA or ACA qualification. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
