VDC Coordinator

Overview

Coordinates BIM models and construction documentation for projects.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Visit project sites as needed to verify field conditions and support coordination efforts -Develop an understanding of how each system operates and integrates with others -Review contract drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness -Generate RFI’s from Coordination Meetings -Assist VDC Manager in leading, documenting and coordinating meetings -Coordinate systems (underground to roof) for constructability, code compliance and design intent -Maintain and organize coordination files within Procore -Maintain clear project communication with the construction team throughout the coordination process -Utilize clash detection software (e.g., Navisworks) during the coordination process -Review of coordination, shop, fabrication drawings received from subcontractors -Attend Project Meetings and provide updates as needed -Collaborate with the VDC Manager on projects assigned

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. -Diagnosing problems and generating solutions to difficult construction-related coordination issues -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or similar -Strong understanding of BIM/VDC platforms (Revit, Navisworks preferred). -Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
