The Role
Overview
Lead asset management to boost reliability and performance of SRP's electric system.

Tasks
-Support capital planning and budgeting through data-driven asset condition assessments. -Lead process improvements across organizations within the electric system. -Prepares recommendation material for management consideration. -Facilitate and support the creation and implementation of tactical asset management plans. -Leads collaboration across SRP. -When required/requested, serves on industry committees and task forces as a representative of SRP. -Provide engineering analysis and asset management support assets across the electric system (transmission, distribution, generation and operational technology). -Administers and reviews work performed by consultants and others. -Serves as an engineering project leader and both perform and support business unit's implementation of asset management best practices. Best practices cover topics such as data requirements and data quality, risk definition and assessments, condition health and failure mode analysis, equipment performance, and maintenance and capital replacement strategies, among others. -Develop and implement asset lifecycle strategies, risk assessments, and reliability-centered maintenance activities. -Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, finance, and IT teams to align asset strategies with organizational goals. -Support the adoption of the asset management strategic plan and multi-year improvement plans. -Prepares and/or conducts written and oral reports and presentations. -Develop, administer, and report on asset management and health metrics for the electric system, Power Delivery, and Resilience & Asset Management.

-Demonstrates leadership in organizational change management to foster the success of new business products, services, and/or business processes. -Ability to quickly learn and acquire new technical skills. -Demonstrated ability to organize a diverse workload, work independently, and complete work accurately and within deadlines. -Strong communication, collaboration, strategic thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. -Strong data skills (e.g., Excel, SQL basics, Power BI). -Experience with information systems is a plus (e.g., Maximo, Cascade, SAP, Snowflake, GIS, Copperleaf). -Demonstrates thought leadership to further new ideas and business processes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and/or customer satisfaction.
