Credit and Collections Analyst

Overview

Handle collections, credit memos, and resolve customer deductions for AR.

Tasks

-Make collection calls and maintain follow-up on customers past due items. -Process and maintain records as required by law or as needed to ensure integrity required for financial records and auditors. -Maintain customer profile and customer report card on key accounts using customer portal or other method. -Work with customers to determine most efficient processes for both customers and Delta Faucet. -Research customer deductions and pursue repayment from customers if deductions are deemed invalid. -Work with Rep Agencies and/or Sales Managers to resolve customer issues. -Maintain customer metrics on assigned accounts when reviewing with Credit Manager. -Meet with Customer Analysts on key or problem accounts to share information and discuss ideas. -Review, document and prepare (not including keypunching) credit memos as needed. -Establish relationships with customers to help resolve issues in a positive manner.

What You Bring

-Must be able to manage multiple priorities and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel is needed. -The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as sound math skills and a basic understanding of accounting.
