Tasks

-Supervises the design and configuration of roadway system equipment by reviewing and monitoring the design, building and configuration of equipment, and the retrofitting of obsolete equipment and software. -Develops, coaches and mentors assigned staff, maintains attendance records and prepares performance evaluations for all direct reports. -Supervises work and projects by scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring performance and progress, ensuring availability of necessary tools, inspecting work, compiling data and maintaining reports of time, productivity and costs. -Directs the day-to-day operations of all assigned staff providing assistance when needed, coaching when required and other supervisory duties as assigned. -Inspects the installation and maintenance of roadway system equipment by reviewing installs, updating software, monitoring cabling and wiring, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring the maintenance of gate controllers and the data network.
