The Role

Overview

Oversees survey projects, leads planning, execution, QA/QC, and team guidance.

Tasks

-Serves as subject matter expert for survey related activities such as construction staking, topographic surveying, platting, legal description writing, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, and legal principles. -Conduct team meetings with project team to evaluate and coordinate the project. -Complies with and helps the enforcement of company standards, policies, and procedures. -Works with the Project Manager to define project tasks, schedule and resource requirements. -Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to project team staff as needed. -Lead the planning and implementation of projects and monitors the operational effectiveness throughout. -Works with Project Manager to evaluate project budget, scope, and fee. -Responsible for quality control and quality assurance related to the survey activities on each project. -Stays current on service-specific trends, technology, software, hardware, and equipment. -Ensures division, regional, and company policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service.

What You Bring

-Four-year degree preferred and/or 10-plus years of experience in a consulting business. -Effective verbal and written communication is necessary and independent judgment is essential. -Handle multiple priorities and projects well. -Professional Survey License with multi-state licensure preferred. -Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
