Manage and mentor site team, coordinate design and supply chain for A47 infrastructure project.

Tasks

-Input into your direct report’s annual goals and check in on the development of these regularly. -Coordinate supply chain partners to contribute to design solutions at the appropriate time to deliver a right first time design solution that can be constructed with “no in-flight change” -Ensure construction issues are raised promptly through the delivery team, with an appropriate level of escalation to determine a suitable resolution. -Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and client representatives. -Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively.

What You Bring

-Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering -Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (through experience and formal training). Ideally ECC NEC4. -Knowledge and understanding of temporary works processes, design and management. -Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies. -Effective written and verbal communication skills to diverse audiences.
