Lead BIM and digital information management for MEP projects, ensuring ISO19650 compliance.

Tasks

-Delegating tasks to others in a way that ensures they are completed effectively. -Producing information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources. -Staying up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications. Supports construction sequencing strategy using information models. -Collaborating with the Mace PM and design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace way. -Produces information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650. -Monitoring digital handover to completion. -Implementing governance and assurance processes. -Developing BIM execution plan (BEP). -Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. -Participating in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments. -Responsible to produce the information model. (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only) -Reading, understanding and supporting the delivery of all Mace process and procedures guides. -Responsible for the assurance and checking of the information model. -Providing training on using databases, analysing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics. -Reviewing current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies. -Developing and maintains an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients. -Responsible for object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy. -Supporting Mace cost team in preparation of cost plans from information models. -Supporting the delivery team/s throughout the project lifecycle. -Upskilling the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions. -Ensuring security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.

What You Bring

-Level 7 qualifications (or equivalent), integrated master’s degree, for example Master of Engineering (MEng), level 7 award, level 7 certificate, level 7 diploma, level 7 NVQ, master’s degree, for example Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc). -Understanding and performs in line with information management assignment matrix (from Table A.1 of BS EN ISO 19650-2). -Proficient and understanding in content management library systems. Autodesk desktop products. validation and verification tools. visualisation tools. databases. -Level 6 qualifications (or equivalent), degree apprenticeship, degree with honours - for example bachelor of the arts (BA) hons, Bachelor of Science (BSc) hons, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, level 6 award, level 6 certificate, level 6 diploma, level 6 NVQ. -Understanding the setup of processes and tools for CDEs. -Intermediate understanding of ISO19650, BS1192, common data environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classification -Personal effectiveness, plans and organises, collaborates and networks, solves problems, adapts and responds to change, delivers results and exceeds clients’ expectations.
