The Role

Overview

Entry-level electronics associate for security systems with 2‑year training program.

Tasks

-Track, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment daily -Assist with installation raceways, cabling, racks, panels, and hardware to NEC standards -Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). -Learn and apply safety procedures on active job sites -Participate in daily safety and project meetings -Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders. -Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance. -Take on increasing responsibility and independence throughout the 2-year program -Train in terminating, testing, and configuring electronic devices, network, and IT equipment -May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools. -Attend classroom training and complete technical modules to build trade skills -Support racking, stacking, and cable terminations for head-end systems -Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

What You Bring

-Open and transparent communication with senior leadership as well as local office management. -High School diploma or GED -The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety. -Ability to pass a drug test and background check -Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. -Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. -Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English. -Must successfully pass a pre-employment aptitude test -College level math course is required, if not, one must be completed within the first 30 days of employment -Willingness to work on construction sites and adhere to safety regulations -Willing to travel up to 25% -Ability to work safely, follow instructions, and thrive in a team environment -Valid Real ID drivers license and reliable transportation -Strong communication and time management skills
