Tasks

-Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards, municipal specifications, and regulatory requirements. -Technical Support: Assist with design modifications to ensure accuracy and consistency. -Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality. -Documentation & File Management: Maintain organized project files, revise drawings as needed, and assist in preparing documentation packages for client and regulatory approvals. -Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design documents. -Drafting & Modeling: Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

What You Bring

Seeking a skilled Designer with experience in 3D modeling software to support the design and development of municipal infrastructure projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to produce precise, detailed drawings and 3D models of stormwater infrastructure, site layouts, civil details, and related facilities. Your work will help ensure accurate, efficient, and timely project delivery. -Associate’s degree (A.S.) in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered. -Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar drafting software. -Cross training and the ability to work on a variety of projects. -Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings. -Experience with municipal infrastructure projects (e.g., stormwater, site layout, water/wastewater, site utilities) preferred. -Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
