Tasks

-Balance performance, cost, security and sustainability through reusable patterns, automation, standardisation and architecture decisions that accelerate delivery while maintaining compliance and quality. -Design scalable interoperable data solutions providing leadership across programs to ensure all data solutions are cost effective, maintainable and aligned with enterprise architectures. -Define and maintain enterprise data architecture by leading the creation and ongoing refinement of enterprise data architecture ensuring alignment with business strategy DMBOK2 principles, governance frameworks, regulatory and security requirements. -Establish and oversee data governance building and embed governance capabilities, data ownership, stewardship, metadata, lineage and quality frameworks to ensure data is compliant, trusted and well managed across the organisation. -Uphold enterprise data standards and modelling practices for metadata, naming, lineage and integration developing conceptual, logical physical models and analytics ready aligned to reporting needs.

What You Bring

-Hands on technical tools and development skills with practical experience with Databricks, ADF, SAP HANA/BW/BDC, SQL, Python, and Power Bi. -Ability to align architecture with business goals and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and scalability. -Advance Data Modelling capability proficient in dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, Dat Vault and medallion Architecture. -Well developed experience designing enterprise architectures, governance frameworks and target-state data models across Azure, AWS and SAP. -Modern Data Platform and engineering proficiency skilled in Lakehouse, Synapse, Snowflake, Fabric, ETL/ELT pipelines, CI/CD, and large scale data operations. -Demonstrated track record in defining data strategy, enforcing data policies and partnering with business stakeholders. -Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or relevant industry experience.
