Tasks

-Ensures all local build standards and regulations are followed during Site Construction -Interacts with other technicians and customer’s technical staff. -Provide comprehensive and accurate reporting of all project activities. -Verification of Site quality throughout the implementation and acceptance processes. -Daily interlock with Supplier (meetings, status, etc.) -Coordinate Equipment repair and return -Commissioning, and Integration activities. -Interprets various documents (e.g. blueprints, diagrams, manufacturer specifications, etc.) to ensure proper installation of equipment

What You Bring

The primary responsibility for this Field Manager position is the ability to perform site Integration activities and the ability to troubleshooting hardware/software systems. We would like this person to understand Telecom construction. -Grounding and various types of electrical voltages and safe connection methods. -Must have Valid Driver's License -Electrical training with some telecommunications experience. -Ability to safely use hand and small power tools. -Valid Driver’s License -Capacity to follow detailed verbal and written instructions. -Trouble shoots RBS issues, board issues (CBU/DUL, OBIF, RAX and TX). -A demonstrated understanding of multiple client network topologies and associated Radio access network (RAN) and Optical / Microwave Transmission infrastructure. -Decision making and problem-solving skills. -Magenta Build Experience and clearly described on the resume with project details -OSHA 10 Certification preferred -Must Comply with attached travel policy -First Aid Training/CPR preferred -Demonstrated understanding of microwave and fiber transmission concepts. -UMTS, LTE & GSM commissioning, integration & troubleshooting. -IC&I & Troubleshooting experience in UMTS, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, & GSM. Certifications a plus! -RF Awareness – Radio Frequency Awareness -Must have Scoping knowledge -A willingness to travel and/or work outdoors in all weather conditions when required. -Two or more years of experience in a network rollout discipline -Flexibility in working hours and travel. Ability to travel overnight. -OSHA 10 (10-hour course) + Fall Protection or OSHA 30 (30 Hour course) -Two or more years of experience in wireless industry -Ability to follow all state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, local turfing vendor, etc.) while working in an efficient and productive manner. -Microwave installation, commissioning and alignment. -Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time -The following must be completed and available to presented at the time of start: -Basic knowledge of Antennae & RF configuration at cell sites. -Understands and implements RAN, RF and Transmission designs. -Experience integrating and troubleshoot cabinets and rack mounted equipment. -Moderate to Expert knowledge utilizing Microsoft Tools Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
