Assemble and inspect transformer insulation parts, train new hires, ensure quality compliance.

Tasks
-Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards. -Training and mentoring of new hires into the department. -Responsible to fulfill and/or to support fulfilment of all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.]. -Assists in developing and maintaining technical documentation and instructions related to the insulation assembly process -Responsible for producing, assembling, and preparing insulation materials for various transformer components, including interpreting technical drawings to determine insulation parameters -Conducts measurements and evaluations during insulation stages to ensure correct tolerances, and performs final inspections and quality checks in line with technical standards

What You Bring
-Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings, and perform complex measurements. -Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community college. -Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided. -Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English. -Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests. -At least 1 year of experience in the insulation of medium to large transformer parts or of similar electrical equipment is required. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. -Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift License and a Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working in heights. -High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience.
