Tasks

As a Procurement Executive at Chattels Design, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services required for our interior design projects. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and delivery terms, and coordinating logistics to meet project timelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in handling procurement operations within the interior design sector. -Coordinate closely with the Accounts team for purchase order processing, vendor invoice submission, and timely payments. -Maintain and update the vendor database, including performance reviews and pricing history. -Track order status, manage delivery timelines, and perform quality checks upon receipt. -Follow up on vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial documentation. -Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation. -Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. -Source and procure interior design materials as per project requirements. -Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. -Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and standards. -Coordinate logistics and deliveries to ensure materials reach project sites on schedule. -Stay updated on new materials, market trends, and sustainable sourcing options.

What You Bring

-Excellent organizational and time management abilities. -1+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry. -Strong communication skills and attention to detail. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. -Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software/tools (e.g., ERP systems). -Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
