BIM Coordinator

Coordinate and model MEP designs in Revit, ensuring BIM compliance and clash resolution.

Tasks

-Maintain cloud models and reporting using BIM platforms such as ACC/BIM 360. -Ensure the latest models, drawings, and designs from all stakeholders are being used, and notify engineers and site teams of any updates or revisions. -Model skids and modules for offsite fabrication and delivery. -Ensure compliance with all project BIM documentation and standards. -Adhere to all company EHSQ (Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality) policies and procedures. -Attend weekly internal model and design team meetings, as well as project BIM meetings with main contractors. -Generate Revit models based on senior engineers’ outputs (sketches, calculations, or design software such as Hevacomp, Cymap, DIALux, and Relux). -Manage clash detection, reporting, and resolution across disciplines. -Integrate point cloud surveys into design workflows. -Create Revit families where manufacturer files are unavailable. -Model, draw, and coordinate mechanical and electrical designs to ensure projects are constructible with minimal rework once site operations begin. -Provide technical assistance to the project team throughout project delivery.

What You Bring

-Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred. -Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise professionally and promptly. -Previous experience with Revit MEP in the construction or building services industry.
