Quality Inspector - Yard

Inspect and verify pipe shipments in the yard, ensuring correct product, packaging, and quality.

Tasks

-Confirm correct product makes it on the truck -Confirm packaging is correct safe and secure for each bundle -Conduct visual inspections for legible print line, gasket defects, chamfer, bell, fading, and any other issues of pipe -QA load checks for all loads -Confirm all products being shipped with PO is accurate -Identify any physical damage to product from yard handling and report through the proper channels

What You Bring

-Ability to work in the outdoor elements -At least 1 year of related experience, preferred -Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. -Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company -Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions -High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification, other related experience or combination thereof -Computer literate experienced with Microsoft Office software
