Tasks

-Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and new energy technologies that could benefit commercial customers. -Serve as a trusted energy advisor to commercial customers by analyzing usage, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and offering cost-saving solutions. -Meet and exceed sales goals, maintaining a disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting. -Collaborate across business units to integrate solutions, including fuel delivery, HVAC, lighting, or solar services, ensuring a unified customer experience. -Educate customers on energy-saving technologies, utility programs, and sustainability initiatives that align with NOCO’s mission of reducing energy waste. -Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through networking, referrals, industry events, and direct outreach. -Build long-term relationships with customers by consistently delivering value, transparency, and results. -Develop customized energy strategies that align with each client’s operational goals and risk tolerance. -Use CRM tools to manage leads, track progress, and ensure exceptional customer follow-up. -Represent NOCO at local and regional business events, trade shows, and professional associations, demonstrating our leadership in energy efficiency and customer care.

What You Bring

-Proven success building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering consultative solutions that drive measurable savings and operational efficiency. -Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers at all levels of an organization. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial sales, energy experience is plus, but NOT required. -Self-motivated and results-driven, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a commitment to achieving and exceeding goals. -Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze customer usage data, evaluate savings opportunities, and present clear, data-driven recommendations. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, with strong organizational and follow-up skills. -Willingness to travel regionally to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support customer relationships.
