Multi-skilled engineer to perform maintenance and repairs in hospital facilities.

Tasks

-Ensuring reactive, PPM tasks are completed on time -Working hours will be based Monday to Friday and will include participation in an on-call rota covering one weekend in four. Working hours will include occasional holiday cover and sickness cover. -Support GTFM Management with additional works for the client, building repairs and lifecycle maintenance. -Attend any tasks issued for which the post holder has the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake. -Carry out and complete all works to high quality standards and in a competent manner in accordance with Galliford Try Health and Safety Standards, Clients Policies and Procedures and with the property being left in a clean and tidy condition. -Carry out planned, reactive and additional works in clients’ buildings, including minor works repairs, fault finding and fault diagnosis. -The successful applicant clearing a PVG Disclosure check -To liaise with other GTFM staff and Sub-contractors as necessary to ensure the timely completion of works within agreed operational targets. -To complete accurately all works allocated via a portable electronic device and update all tasks in a timely manner. -To act at all times in accordance with the Galliford Try rules, policies, procedures and financial regulations. -Attend Tool-Box-Talks, training and meetings as required by GTFM management. -Monitoring of Planned Preventative Maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance at all times

What You Bring

-Experience within a facilities management/ Hospital environment. -Preferably a Joiner by Trade -Time served apprenticeship would be essential -Demonstrate strong fabric awareness
