Overview

Design and oversee high‑voltage substation electrical layouts and construction packages.

Tasks

-Use AutoCAD to design substation layouts, one-lines, section views, grounding layouts, and electrical details. -Support high voltage substation electrical/physical design and construction drawing development. -Interface and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure a seamless design between civil/structural engineering, system protection, construction personnel, consultants, vendors, and management regarding substation design. -Evaluate and revise substation engineering procedures, design tools, and provide recommendations. -Prepare, review, and approve engineering construction packages.

What You Bring

-Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas -Driver's license -Experience with 138kV and 345kV substation electrical/physical design -Knowledge of IEEE Standards -Proficient in AutoCAD
