Tasks

-Guide and mentor a team of retail development professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement -Assist in the identification of retail opportunities, conducting market research to inform strategic planning and decision-making -Prepare and present project proposals, updates, and reports to senior leadership, articulating the vision, objectives, and progress of retail initiatives -Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and operations to create compelling retail environments that enhance the overall guest experience -Evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to inform development strategies and ensure relevance in the market -Monitor project budgets, timelines, and milestones to ensure that all development activities adhere to the established plans -Lead the execution of retail development projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery -Establish and maintain strong relationships with retailers, leasing & delivery partners, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's objectives -Implement best practices in retail development, ensuring compliance with business unit operating model, local regulations and safety standards

What You Bring

-Strong grasp of retail market dynamics and trends, with the ability to identify and leverage growth opportunities -Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Development, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus -Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a passion for developing and mentoring team members -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities -Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders -Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in retail development, project management, or related fields with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects -Experience in the entertainment, hospitality, or leisure sectors is highly desirable -Proven project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies
