  • Co-ordinating for required spare parts, repairs…etc. in order to resolve customer reported issues.
  • Responsible for assigned service tasks on a regular basis.
  • Troubleshooting and rectification of reported issues by customers, in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that the work is done safely and without adverse impact on environment, health, equipment…etc. as specified in the company policies and local requirements.
  • Ensuring the quality and schedule is maintained and executed within assigned costs.
  • Attending scheduled Preventive Maintenance calls and Breakdown calls at site.
  • Continuously updating own knowledge in related products/systems from Siemens & training others as required.
  • Ensure compliance with environment, local rules and safety requirements and standards procedures.

  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to work for extended hours on weekdays/ weekends depending on situations.
  • A university degree/diploma Electrical/Electronics engineering OR equivalent.
  • Candidate must have at least 3-6 years of experience in the Indian railway ML, EMU related products/systems.
  • MS Office and general office tools/applications working skills.
  • Open-mindedness and constructive attitude to perform tasks.
  • Troubleshooting/servicing knowledge and hands-on experience in products/systems like DE Locomotive systems, Coach Converters/Inverters, Static Converters/SIV, HLCs, E-Loco Propulsion systems, EMU related Traction/Aux converters, Panels, axillary equipment…etc.).
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
