The Role
Overview
Field support for control system installation, start‑up, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Tasks
-Provide excellent customer care and support. -Assist and be self-sufficient in project installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems. -Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams. -Go the extra mile for your customer, take ownership of their needs, over communicate. Drive customer success. -Always follow up and honor commitments with customers. -Follow customer specific site standards and procedures. -Foster an environment of integrity, trust, collaboration, professionalism, serving one another, leading by example, and assuming good intent each and every day. -Effectively communicates with co-workers. -Accurately document work performed. -Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations. -Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems. -Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). -Wire instruments and control panels. -Practice procedures outlined in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).

What You Bring
-Fit for Duty at all times -Maintain a valid drivers license. -Proven Track Record: 2+ years as Control System Technician or equivalent. -Demonstrate basic understanding of Information Technology (IT) system, network infrastructure, and computer system design, as it relates to control system integration. -Communicate in an effective, positive, and proactive manner with customers. -Demonstrate basic understanding of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications. -Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required. -Demonstrate basic understanding of control system design. -Be patient, attentive, and responsive to customers in solving their problems. -Typically, 2 to 5+ years industry experience. -Able to be independently effective and takes personal responsibility. -Strategically thinks and leverages knowledge to solve problems. -Proficient with startup and troubleshooting of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications. -Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Science in Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems Technology, relevant curriculum, or experience. -Up to 100% of time spent at customer locations with overnight travel up to 60%. -Demonstrate basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system design. -Seek accredited control systems certifications and training opportunities -Proficient with startup and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications.
