Lead statutory and essential services compliance for multiple heritage and hospitality assets

Tasks

-Oversee building compliance programs using the MyBuildings compliance platform. -Manage fire safety and essential services compliance, including Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) preparation and submission. -Contribute to EVT’s sustainability and WHS initiatives. -Mentor and support Maintenance Managers and Chief Engineers in compliance execution. -Audit and enhance preventative maintenance programs across critical building services. -Support Capex planning, feasibility assessments, and lifecycle strategies for major plant and equipment. -Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing non-conformances and driving continuous improvement. -Maintain and build a network of consultants and specialist contractors.

What You Bring

-High-level communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. -Proven experience in managing building compliance, statutory services, and risk mitigation. -Capex project support and contractor management experience highly regarded. -Relevant qualifications in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field. -Strong knowledge of Australian Building Codes, Fire Safety Regulations, and AFSS compliance. -Experience working across multi-site hospitality, entertainment, or commercial asset portfolios. -Familiarity with compliance software and asset management systems (e.g., MyBuildings).
