Tasks
-Due to the nature of the collection systems, response to after-hours call outs is possible. -Maintains daily logs and obtains readings in accordance with prescribed standards. -Routine on-site monitoring of system operations for compliance deadline and contractual requirements, as well as troubleshooting and diagnostics of system malfunctions. -As a field technician with MCC you will provide operations and maintenance services for landfill gas collection systems, in order that they maintain maximum efficiency and compliant operation. -Document daily activities, coordinates, communicates and verifies corrective actions in order to maintain continuous compliance. -Daily work for a field technician will be independent in nature and require communication with supervisors and clients to ensure project success. -Follows all company and project safety policies and procedures. Uses required personal protective equipment at all times and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. (safety boots, safety vest, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, chemical protection and H2S monitoring equipment). -Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of the company truck, all-terrain vehicle and all work areas. -Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

What You Bring
-pipe fusion certificate -The use of personal protective equipment (safety boots, safety glasses, safety vest and personal gas monitoring equipment) is required for daily activities. -High school diploma or equivalent is required, associate’s degree preferred -Ability to work outdoors year-round in rugged terrain. -Able to travel overnight up to 30% -Able to think on your feet while pushing your physical limits. -100% outside work in all weather conditions. -Current OSHA 40 Hr. HAZWOPER. -Able to lift 50 lbs. -Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -Detail oriented -Prefer knowledge/environmental sampling techniques. -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. -Electrical, Chemical and Mechanical experience. -Knowledge of basic math, gas chemistry, piping and instrumentation drawings. -Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including the proficient and safe use of hand tools. -Ability to speak and write professionally. -Ability to walk long distances on all terrain -Ability to operate all-terrain vehicles in varying conditions. -Previous landfill gas system operation experience or education is a plus for a field technician candidate. -Ability to pass pre-employment, as well as random, drug screens, background check and motor vehicle records check. -Proficient use of Windows and Windows Office software to include Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
