HVAC Installer (Commercial)

Overview

Install and assemble commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, and components on construction sites.

Tasks

-Ensure work quality meets or exceeds company and industry standards. -Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times. -Cut, thread, and prepare pipe using standard tools such as cutters, torches, and threading machines. -Occasional work inside office or warehouse environments for prep or meetings. -Set, align, and secure HVAC units; perform rough-in and trim of duct systems. -Install and assemble commercial HVAC systems and components according to plans and specifications. -Fabricate, fit, and install sheet metal ductwork and related HVAC assemblies. -Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and customers. -Connect wiring between equipment and controls using provided wiring diagrams.

What You Bring

-Previous HVAC installation experience preferred—but apprentices and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply! -Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and working at heights. -Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in varying temperature and weather conditions. -Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. -Exposure to outdoor elements, noise, and mechanical equipment. -Frequent use of tools and manual equipment. -Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics a plus. -EPA certification and/or HVAC Journeyman license are pluses. -High school diploma or GED required. -Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation. -Must be able to safely lift and move materials up to 50–100 lbs as needed. -Capable of working independently or as part of a team. -Must pass background and drug screening. -Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
