Tasks

-Coordination with clients and other consultants as part of a project team -Assistance in staff training and development -Management and tracking of projects, including scopes of work, budgets, and schedules -Management or task technical lead for multimodal transportation planning and preliminary engineering projects for public and private sector transportation projects -Management of in-house technical disciplines and other specialty consultants in the development of transportation planning and engineering projects -Development of proposals for project pursuits

What You Bring

-knowledge of GIS, CAD, Synchro, and Highway Capacity Manual procedures -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree -Project management capabilities such as the preparation of scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and meeting materials -Experience with corridor studies, mobility plans, grants, traffic engineering and operation, preliminary engineering and cost estimate, and rail grade separation planning and design. -AICP or PE preferred -An ability to work both independently and collaboratively -5-15 years of progressive industry experience, focused on working with public sector clients -Knowledge of project management procedures, tools, and software -Master’s Degree with a Transportation Focus preferred -Strong written and verbal communications skills
