Tasks

-Developing teaming relationships with specialist consultants and other partners to support proposal strategies; -Participating in the recruitment of additional engineers and technologists as required. -Early identification and development of project opportunities through market intelligence and networking; -Leading the Pursuit, Design and Delivery of Conveyance projects and pursuits that may include: -Involvement in the Civil Design for Reservoirs, Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and associated Valve Chambers and Hydraulic Control Structures. -Leading the Vancouver Water Division’s Conveyance Practise. This may include: -Mentoring Junior and Intermediate Engineers and Technologists -Participate and take leadership role in Discipline Interest Groups and Communities of Practice -Assist the Water Group and Division managers with the resourcing of projects, business planning, revenue forecasting and career planning. -Connect and work with your colleagues across the country to support project resourcing and to build your network.

What You Bring

-Registered with EGBC as a P.Eng. -Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post secondary institution. -Experience in business development in both private and public sectors. -Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. -10+ years of experience in conveyance design, engineering, construction and management of which a minimum of 5 years is in a consulting capacity. -Possess a valid driver's license. -Experience in coaching and mentoring staff. -Ability to travel across Canada. -Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and other consultants.
