Tasks
As part of the digital transformation team, the digital delivery engineer will help support and facilitate the successful embedment of digital tools and processes across our schemes in Highways. Support the effective mobilisation of our schemes ensuring our standard digital tools and processes are successfully embedded and crucially supported. Help to resolve issues and questions with regards to digital tools Develop a key understanding of digital transformation and delivery. Act as key point of contact for projects for digital tools questions and queries Day in, day out, our teams deliver some of the UK’s most ambitious, exciting and meaningful projects; developing, building and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities. Work with the wider Digital team to become a subject Matter expert in digital tools and processes. Develop strong relationships at the project level with stakeholders and users -Ensure best practices and processes are followed with regards to Digital -Ensure appropriate SME representation in Digital initiatives -Develop processes; implement a digital culture with the use of Digital Technology across the Customers, Regions, sectors, and Frameworks which aligned with Balfour Beatty Built to Last an build a Digital Balfour Beatty -Build and maintain collaborative relationships with a range of project stakeholders -Receive products into service and ensure their successful roll out across multiple schemes -Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm -Help lead Digital implementation of products and processes on projects across the UK. -Capture additional requirements and feedback to team -Create effective relationships with the project team, supply chain partners -Planning in relation to roll out of digital tools onto schemes -Can Lead the use of Digital Software applications and train others -Own the training and deployment plans for digital tools implementation -Drive the adoption of established digital minimum expectations into to all local projects -Own the deployment of digital tools onto each new local project -Track and report on adoption of digital tools -Capture, document, and feedback lessons learned on the success and failure of digital tools, process and their implementations.
