Overview

Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication packages for architectural metal and wall panels.

Tasks

-Contribute to the continuous improvement of detailing practices and standards. -Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on estimated and field-verified conditions. -Assist team members and leadership with workload balancing and coordination. -Review and implement changes to project scope, supplemental instructions, and revisions as needed. -Collaborate with Project Managers and Field Supervisors to coordinate drawing and fabrication release timelines. -Maintain and update fabrication drawing packages throughout the project lifecycle. -Identify and resolve drawing or coordination issues proactively. -Stay current with industry trends and tools related to detailing. -Interpret architectural and structural drawings, RFIs, and specifications to ensure accuracy. -Create detailed shop drawings and submittal packages using company CAD standards and templates.

What You Bring

-Basic understanding of construction knowledge and terminology. -CNC programming or fabrication experience (preferred). -Prior experience with architectural metal or panel system detailing (preferred). -Experience using HiCAD (preferred). -Associate degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, or related field, or high school diploma/GED with formal drafting/design training. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel. -Excellent organizational and time management skills. -Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer). -Familiarity with 3D modeling and BIM software such as Revit or Navisworks (preferred). -Strong written and verbal communication skills.
