Overview

Assist Resident Engineer in design review & supervise construction of roads, bridges in Dubai.

Tasks

-Review and evaluate Contractor’s submissions, providing clear feedback. -Perform regular checks and measurements of completed work to confirm accuracy and compliance with specifications. -Offer on-site guidance and issue site instructions to ensure work proceeds according to the plan. -Track and record project progress against the established program, identifying any discrepancies. -Assist and deputize for the Resident Engineer (RE) as required, ensuring seamless project oversight. -Prepare detailed progress reports to keep stakeholders informed on project status. -Actively participate in contract administration and related activities. -Monitor and enforce adherence to safety standards and practices on-site. -Oversee the quality control of materials and workmanship to maintain high standards. -Supervise the site inspection team, ensuring thorough and effective inspections. -Ensure construction and operations & maintenance (O&M) work align with the Contract Documents, meeting the required standards. -Ensure the accuracy and completeness of as-built drawings and documentation

What You Bring

-Be fully computer literate and proficient in using technology to access data, maintain records, and generate reports. -Minimum of 7 years experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects in the UAE/GCC -Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. -Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University. -Demonstrate strong technical writing abilities.
